Hola mi amigo!!! I was doing a bit of web searching and found your site. Wow!!! I’m still in the Navy and currently in San Antonio, TX. I’m at olcornejo@hotmail.com. I promise to keep in touch and be more pro-active. Laura says Hi and by the way, we have three wonderful,beautiful children with attitudes-twin four year old girls and a ten month old boy. Let me know what’s going on in your life. Great to hear about Tim, Donna, Neil. Let me tell you, some great memories in that dorm and then after it :) Ok, I gotta go and finish watching the Men’s 1000 meter finals. Family life has me watching the Olympics :)

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.

Art is a metaphor for life and courage isn’t, truly, about being brave: it’s about picking yourself up off the floor when you’re terrified, when it’s easier to just quit.

I’m deep in the throes of reinventing myself, at nearly forty, and folks that are brave enough to do silly things like making a “frickin’ zombie movie,” own a special place in my heart, especially when they appear to be the only Native human that can make me look like a CLOSET intellectual. (I believe you might, actually, ponder the universe more than me, which is a difficult thing to do.)

So, go forth! Film on! Swing for the fences!

There. Did rhetoric make it any easier? No?

It never works for me, either. :)
